Dog Shampoo

This natural and delicate dog shampoo bar contains Neem oil, which is deeply moisturising, the small amounts of essential oils provide a light scent.

You may wish to use an acid rinse after the use of this shampoo bar to eliminate any residue and leave the coat soft and shiny (recipe below)

Please avoid using this shampoo bar on puppies or pregnant dogs

Acid Rinse Recipe:

1. 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar/white vinegar/citric acid
2. mix your acid ingredient with the water in a spray bottle
3. after washing your dog, spray the solution lightly all over and rub in gently
4. let it rest for 1-2 minutes and then rinse well

You can play around with different concentrations and acid ingredients, although most people find that citric acid works best, but it may change from dog to dog.  Keep the bottle ready for future washes and, don't worry, if you're using vinegar the smell will fade once your dog is dry! 

Properties

Olive oil: Highly moisturising and hydrating, highly penetrable, does not clog pores

Coconut oil: Moisturising, in saponified products it helps to increase lather

Castor oil: Highly moisturising

Shea butter: Highly nourishing and moisturising, perfect for extremely dry skin

Neem oil: Neem oil is an amazing gentle and deeply moisturising oil

Jojoba oil: Helps with moisture retention

Glycerin: Naturally occurring in soap-like shampoo bars, as it is a byproduct of saponification, it has great moisturising properties

5% superfat: 5% of the oils contained in this shampoo bar are unsaponified, making it extra moisturising

Please keep this soap on a soap dish and let it dry evenly to make it last longer.
